Lidl opens logistics center in Slovenia

25 October 2019

Lidl opened a new logistics center in Arja Vas, a village in central Slovenia. The German discount retail chain invested $78m in the project. Construction broke ground in June 2018 on the 13 ha logistics center. The center is expected to help shorten transportation times, lower the company’s greenhouse gas emissions and upgrade its business operations. Lidl has been operating in Slovenia since 2007.
