Lidl opens new logistic center in Bulgaria

3 August 2017

In Yambol province, near the village of Kabile, the German company Lidl will build a major new logistic center next to the Trakia motorway. For the past seven year, the grocery chain has been using a facility in Ravno Polje for deliveries around Bulgaria. Once the new warehouse is completed, the old one will continue to serve locations in the country east of Plovdiv. The new €40m warehouse will create 150 new jobs, with Lidl investing in delivery optimization in order to support the opening of its 85th store in the country. The company has over 10,000 stores across Europe.
