A local investor has purchased the former Gigasport storage facility in Benatky nad Jizerou, which the sporting goods retailer had used to supply the Czech and Slovak markets. The 3,000 sqm sits on land that allows for an additional 7,000 sqm of expansion. The new owner intends to lease the building, according to Cushman & Wakefield’s team, which represented the seller exclusively.
“This is the sixth building sold from the real property portfolio vacated by Gigasport on its departure from the Czech market. At this time, the last vacant shop situated in the Pruhonice/Cestlice retail park is offered for sale or lease,” says Martin Kubín of Cushman & Wakefield’s Retail Warehouse Team. Cushman & Wakefield has been entrusted with the sale of the entire portfolio.
