The German logistics property developer Log4Real began construction on Industrial Campus Vienna East, a €135m, 170,000 sqm project located near Vienna Schwechat Airport. It’s the company’s first project outside Germany and, it claims will be the largest in Austria. Work on the office and logistics space in the first phase is planned to complete in the fourth quarter of 2017, with the space having been pre-leased to two tenants. The project is located near the A4 motorway and the S1 expressway, with direct access to the airport.
Christian Vogt, Log4Real Vice President and Country Manager for Austria, said: “These warehouses on the outskirts of Vienna are designed to meet the demanding requirements of logistics companies who promise fast delivery to their retailing clients. That often means same-day delivery.”
He said the new facility would feature jointless integrated floors, interior heights of up to 12.20 meters, and bespoke energy options for tenants.
