Logivest has brokered around 21,000 square meters of storage and office space to BLG LOGISTICS in Borken, North Hesse.
In the search for a suitable expansion area near the location in Schluechtern, the logistics service provider was convinced by the property at Kraftwerk 6 in Borken. The size and equipment of the property, the location – just over 100 km from Schluechtern and ideally connected via the A49 motorway – and last but not least the immediate availability, corresponded exactly to the search criteria. In addition, the delivery via eight ramp gates as well as at ground level and the generous maneuvering area on the open space are ideal for the planned processing of textile logistics.
“Due to its central location and the direct motorway connection, Borken is a good logistics location in Hesse. This attractiveness was further increased by the opening of a railport at the end of 2021 and the resulting option of rail freight traffic,” says Daniel Gerlach, Consultant Industrial & Logistics Letting at Logivest.
The premises could already be occupied in March, less than eight weeks after receipt of the search order.
