Logivest in Solingen has brokered around 26,000 sqm of hall space on a 39,000 sqm site to Woltu GmbH. The online mail order company is on course for expansion and has already moved into the 24,000 sqm logistics hall and the adjoining 2,000 sqm office space.
For Woltu GmbH, an online retailer for office and home furniture, the proximity to the Wuppertal headquarters was an important criterion. Logivest was able to offer a single-tenant logistics property just twenty minutes away, southwest of Wuppertal in the Bergisches Land region, that meets the requirements of the e-commerce company. The property includes a high-bay warehouse with almost 2,800 square meters and a logistics and storage area with 19,600 square meters.
“Due to the good connection to the motorway network and the proximity to three airports, Solingen is one of the most sought-after locations. However, there are hardly any designated areas in the Bergisches Land, so it is difficult to find suitable properties,” said Kresimir Basic, Head of Letting at Logivest NRW GmbH.
For the fifth time, Logivest was able to find suitable logistics space for Woltu GmbH. A total of around 75,000 square meters of logistics space has already been occupied.
The location is ideal for online retailers: the A 46 motorway is in the immediate vicinity, and you can quickly get to the A1 via the Wuppertal-Nord motorway junction and the A 535 via the Sonnborner Kreuz. The airports in Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn and Dortmund can be reached in a short time.
