Lordship revives its plans for Kamenné námestie

15 December 2016

Lordship is reviving its plan to redevelop Kamenné námestie in Bratislava. At the beginning of 2017 the developer plans to start negotiations with the city about the future design of the square. Lordship first came up with the idea back in 2006. It planned to tear down the obsolete hotel Kyjev and department store in the square and build two hotels, a mixed use complex and a new shopping center instead. But work on the project, scheduled for completion in 2009, never really started. In May 2014 the two dominant landowners at Kamenné námestie, Lordship and Tesco Stores SR, signed a contract about cooperation. Lordship’s senior development manager Peter Schmidt told Trend Reality, that the project, featuring flats, retail and office, is in planning and work could start in 2017
