Poland’s fuel giant Lotos is in talks with Neste Oil to take over 106 of the Finnish company’s petrol stations across the country. According to the business server parkiet.pl, Lotos could spend PLN 200m on the expansion plan. But market observers warn that Lotos may be moving too fast, and the stations it takes from Neste Oil could end up taking business away from the filling stations it already owns. “Lotos should be very careful about deciding to take over the entire chain from Neste,” said Konrada Anuszkiewicza from Ipopemy Securities.
