The Hampton Inn Downtown Jacksonville I-95 has been acquired by a Los Angeles-based investor for $16.9 million. Lowe Enterprises Investors bought the 118 room hotel at 1331 Prudential Drive for $143,220 per room key. Nicholas L. Meli and Mark Fair of commercial real estate firm JLL, sold the asset for 1331 Prudential Holdings. The property last traded in 2011 for $10 million. “The hotel features an outdoor pool, fitness center, meeting space, business center, and convenience store,” the buyer stated in a news release. “Lowe Enterprises Investors will implement a renovation program to update guest rooms, bathrooms and the fitness center.”
