LPP starts work on new headquarters in Gdańsk

11 December 2014

LPP, Poland’s top clothing retailer, is preparing to build its new headquarters in TriCity. The project will replace the company’s old space on Łąkow street, and it is set to go up on a plot recently acquired by LPP. The retailer will pick a design at the beginning of next year. The project is expected to be completed in 2016. “Thanks to the company’s dynamic growth, we plan to add roughly 200 new jobs in the coming years,” said Jacek Kujawa, LPP’s vice president. The news comes four years after the company abandon plans to develop new headquarters near Gdańsk’s Dłogie Ogrody district.

In the meantime, LPP’s 13,000 sqm training center and showroom are nearing completion in Pruszcz Gdański. “The showroom will resemble a shopping arcade offering stores from all our fashion brands. It will make it possible for us test new concepts and technologies in our units,” said Piwoński adding that the showroom will replicate LPP stores operating in Poland’s shopping malls. The company is also preparing to launch a new brand, set to be introduced in 2016. No further details about the new brand have been disclosed.
