Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of condolence to Polish people after 16 were killed in a rail accident in the Polish city of Szczekociny over the weekend. The Belarussian Embassy reported that Alexander Lukashenko had sent his âwords of sympathy and support for the Polish president and the train crash victimsâ families.â The letter comes after Polandâs and Belarusâ recent diplomatic conflict, following the EUâs decision to increase sanctions against Lukashenko regime.
