Lukerg Renew, a joint venture between the Russian oil and gas company Lukoil and the Italian energy group ERG, announced plans to invest around €135m to build a wind farm in Romania’s Tulcea region. The company acquired the project in late 2012.
Lukerg Renew will start work this quarter. The wind farm is expected to start commercial operations next year.
The law firm Wolf Theiss and Ernst & Young advised Lukerg Renew on the deal.
