Macedonia exports hit €4bn in 2015

The value of Macedonia’s total exports in 2015 was €4.05bn, according to preliminary data from the country’s State Statistical Office, while the total value of imported goods rose to €5.77bn. The country’s trade deficit was €1.72bn. Macedonia’s chief exports are catalyst, precious metals, iron-nickel and wiring systems for automobiles. Macedonia imports platinum and platinum alloys, petroleum, electricity and a variety of metals.
