Macedonia’s economy grew by 2.4 percent in the third quarter, according to the State Statistical Office. The biggest increases were recorded in the professional, scientific and technical sectors, followed by administrative and support services (10.9 percent), construction (10.3 percent) and information and communication sectors (5.6 percent).
Household consumption, including non-profit institutions serving households, increased by 5.3 percent in nominal terms in Q3, amounting for 64.1 percent of GDP. Exports of goods and services increased by 13.3 percent in nominal terms, while imports increased by 11.1 percent.
