The growth rate of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the third quarter of 2015 was 3.5 percent, according to the State Statistical Office of Macedonia. The growth is being attributed to jumps in a variety of sectors, including construction (29.4 percent), administrative and support service activities (15.9 percent), financial and insurance activities (11.7 percent), and accommodation and food services (7 percent).
In the third quarter of 2015, household consumption rose 3.4 percent in nominal terms compared to the same period of 2014, and its share of GDP was 64.4 percent.
