A total of 71,813 tourists visited Macedonia in June, up 0.6 percent y-o-y, according to the State Statistical Office. The number of domestic tourists increased by 1.7 percent, while the number of foreign tourists increased by 0.2 percent for the month. A total of 171,861 nights were spent at accommodations throughout the country, up 1.7 percent y-o-y, according to the data. Between January and June, the number of tourists increased by 8.6 percent y-o-y, with the number of domestic tourists increasing by 10.2 percent and foreign tourist numbers increasing by 7.9 percent.
