The Macedonian government is planning to invest €80m into the construction and repair of regional roads around the country. Construction is underway on 200 km of regional roads, according to the minister of transport and communications, Vlado Misajlovski, and the director of the Public Enterprise for State Roads, Aleksandar Stojanovski. Meanwhile, Bitola-Resen-Bukovo, Kocani-Delcevo, Mokrino-Smolari, Nikolic-Dojran, Boskov most-Debar and Melnicki most-Centar Zupa are set to undergo repairs.
The reconstruction of the 31 km Kocani-Makedonska Kamenica-Delcevo road is part of the first phase of the project. Costs are estimated at €6m.
