Macedonian export volume hits €982.8m in Q1

Macedonia’s export volume increased to €982.8m in the first three months of the year, up 5.9 percent y-o-y, according to the State Statistical Office. The import volume hit €1.35bn, up 3.9 percent from the same period last year.

The trade deficit was €367.3m for the quarter. Macedonia’s main trade partners for Q1 were Germany, the UK, Serbia, Greece and Bulgaria.
