Maciej Zajdel reportedly leaves IVG Poland

4 March 2015

Maciej Zajdel, CEO of IVG in Poland, is leaving the company, according to Polish media outlets. He’s reportedly still overseeing transactions on the Polish market, but is no longer in charge of the day-to-day operations of the fund. In a recent deal, Arese took over IVG’s portfolio, which includes retail and office assets located in five countries. IVG transacted €350m over the last 10 years.

IVG also signed three new tenants this month at its Chmielna 25 mixed-use project in Warsaw. Sud Architekt Polska, Europtima and Booking.com have leased nearly 1,430 sqm of office space in the building. Sud Architekt Polska is relocating from Dom Jabłkowskich, delivered by LHI in 2011. IVG took over the project from LHI last year. LH1 and BNP Paribas Real Estate are the project’s leasing agents.

The seven-story Chmielna 25 building offers 7,135 sqm of space. The Smyk retail chain occupies the entire first level of the building, while the remaining 3,852 sqm of space are offices.
