The Kvasiny industrial zone has nearly doubled over the last year to 110,000 sqm, thanks to strong demand from Škoda Auto suppliers. Magna E&I is set to open a new manufacturing plant in the zone by the end of 2015. The 12,000 sqm facility was developed by M. Preymesser. Cushman & Wakefield helped Magna E&I find a suitable industrial property. The process took six months. Jakub Kodr of Cushman & Wakefield says that proximity to Škoda’s plants in Kvasiny was one of the key criteria. It was also important to Magna E&I that the project was already prepared and construction could start immediately.
