The well-known Croatian touristic destination Cakovec will see substantial investments into the city’s hotel stock come to fruition this spring. The new hotel Castellum is being built by the company City projekt, which is taking its inspiration from current global hospitality trends. In addition to the 30 rooms, a multifunctional hall and conference rooms, the hotel will offer bars, restaurants and beauty services. The existing Hotel Park will also be renovated at a cost of around €1.1m. The European Fund for Regional Development is providing €256,000 of the necessary funds for the work to be completed.
