Mall of America developers plans Miami repeat

9 March 2015

The developer and owner of the Mall of America is planning an even bigger project for South Florida named American Dream Miami. Triple Five Group has submitted plans to Miami-Dade county officials for the scheme which would stretch over 200 acres and could cost up to $4 billion to construct. Located at the intersection of I-75 and the Florida Turnpike, the proposal states that 25,000 construction jobs would be created to build the project, after which 25,000 employees would operate it. Along with shopping, the scheme include plans for an amusement park with simulated ski slopes, a Legoland, sea lions and submarine-infested, seven-acre lake.
