Marc Shapiro joins Newmark Knight Frank as executive VP

Marc Shapiro was named executive vice president of the financial reporting practice at Newmark Knight Frank. He joins the company’s valuation and advisory arm. In his new role, Shapiro will be responsible for team management, driving revenue, growing the practice and managing compliance to complex, international regulatory agency standards. Previously, Shapiro spent more than 10 years at FTI Consulting and was a director in the valuation and advisory group at Cushman & Wakefield for five years. He also served as vice president with the Albert Valuation Group for 12 years.

“Marc’s rich expertise in financial reporting valuations and consulting will be a tremendous asset as he leads his regional team and works with me to grow the national practice,” said John Corbett, senior managing director and financial reporting practice leader at NKF. “His strength as a leader and as an expert in this field will further set our team apart.”
