Marine Harvest USA has signed a new long-term lease at Airport North Logistics Park in Medley. Colliers International South Florida negotiated the 106,000 sq ft 10-year lease. Airport North Logistics Park Building 4, owned by L&B Realty, will be a free-standing, BTS building serving as a salmon processing and distribution facility for Marine Harvest as well as the company’s US corporate offices. The interior warehouse space will undergo significant improvements to include a large portion of temperature-controlled, food-grade space. Construction is scheduled for completion before the end of the year.
Parent company Marine Harvest ASA, based in Norway, is the world’s largest producer of Atlantic salmon. The company operates in 24 countries and supplies seafood to more than 70 markets worldwide.
