General contractor Gates Construction has hired Mark Card as principal for the firms Sarasota office. Card has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, much of it in Sarasota and surrounding counties. Prior to joining Gates, Card was the owner and operator of Sarasota-based general contracting and construction management firm Storie Construction Group. As part of his hire, Storie Construction Group’s personnel and resources will become part of Gates Construction. Gates Construction has offices in Bonita Springs and Sarasota and operates in both North Carolina and the Republic of Panama.
