Sarasota development firm, Martel Realty, is planning to submit plans to Manatee County’s Planning Commission for the development of Blu Harbor. The plan calls for 212 condos in four seven-story buildings and a 132 slip marina on 12 acres of land along Tamiami Trail. Martel is seeking to modify an existing development plan to reduce the number of residential units already approved for the development. The proposal includes a private yacht club with a swimming pool, a fitness center, and walking trails. The marina would contain both dual fresh and saltwater marinas with quick access to Sarasota Bay.
