Marvipol leaving commercial property sector

14 January 2013

Marvipol is pulling out of the Polish commercial market in order to focus on housing projects. The company said it hopes to offload its Prosta Tower office project in Warsaw, which currently serves as Marvipol’s headquarters. “We agreed to sell or lease back the property, which is our only project in the commercial sector,” said Mariusz Książek, the majority shareholder at Marvipol. “We hope to stay in the building, as we’re currently taking up one-third of the space.”
Książek said Marvipol is currently negotiating with potential buyers. “The price is what will determinate the final decision,” he added.
