Marvipol is set to take over 33 percent of Torpol, a Polish construction company specializing in railway infrastructure investments. The share price has been set at PLN 11.79. “Our goal is to support Torpol in its ongoing and planned strategy, as well as to help improve the company’s market position, while improving its cash flow,” Marvipol said in a statement, adding that once the transaction is closed it, will take no steps to offload the company in the future nor withdraw it from the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Other Torpol shareholders include TF Silesia (38 percent), PKO TFI (8.71 percent) and NN TFI (more than 5 percent).
