Dragos Cinca, the founder of electronics retailer Flamingo, is planning to break ground on a residential project in Corbeanca, near Bucharest, this year. The scheme will go up on 60 ha and include a total of 1,000 houses. Cinca plans to build 40 houses this year and another 80 in 2016.
Corbeanca is attracting a lot of developers. Cristian Tantareanu was among the first to invest in this area. His project is called Paradisul Verde.
