Masterplast will establish a new factory in Kál, Hungary, through an investment of €1.4m. The new factory is to begin operations beginning in the second half of 2013, with output to be targeted for distribution within the European Union. Masterplast was established in 1997, and grew in time into one of the leading manufacturers and trading company of thermal insulation materials in the region, with manufacturing bases in four countries.
Even as this investment is moving forward, the company plans to realize further investments, including new factories in Sepsiszentgyörgy, Romania and in Lemberg, Ukraine. With these developments in Hungary, Romania and Ukraine, Masterplast expects to produce revenues of €114m in 2014.
