Maurer Imobiliare, founded by Simon Maurer, bought a 3.4-acre plot in Brasov for the third phase of its Avantgarden residential project. Liliana Tene, marketing manager of Maurer Real Estate, confirmed the acquisition. The third phase will include 10 buildings and a total of 700 homes. Construction on the project’s second phase, 1,200 units in 18 buildings, started a week ago. Tene said the decision to buy land for the third phase was due to the project’s quick pace of sales, but it’s unclear whether construction on the last phase will begin before delivery of the second. Maurer Real Estate sold 1,600 homes since breaking ground on Avantgarden five years ago.
