The leading government party Smer would win Parliamentary elections in Slovakia as of the beginning of this summer, according to a recent poll of voters held between June 23 and July 20. It found that Smer would have picked up 45.9 percent of the vote. The nearest competitor, Sieť, could only pick up 10.7 percent support, followed by KDH (8 percent), writes the server hnonline.sk. Other minor parties such as Most-Híd, SaS, OĽaNO and SNS would also get into the Parliament.
The results mark a 4.3 percent improvement for Smer since the last poll by Median SK, while Sieť nearly doubled its result with a gain of 5.8 percent.
