After years of delay, construction finally broke ground on Medic Park, a mixed-use project in the Bratislava’s Old Town. The complex should have been built in 2008, but the financial crisis forced its Austrian developer, Wien-Süd Holding, to put it on hold. Wien-Süd Holding eventually decided to offload the project, which is now being built by BTK-Bývanie Teplo Klimatizácia.
Wien-Süd Holding has been active in the Slovak market since 2006 and completed a project called Brečtanová in Koliba in Bratislava. Another project, Neovia in Bratislava Nové Mesto, is prepared but will be put on the market.
