Medicop has opened a new production facility and offices in Murska Sobota, northern Slovenia. The medical and ambulance equipment manufacturer invested €7.5m in the 6,300 sqm property, which is expected to increase Medicop’s capacities by 60 percent. The project received €900,000 from the Slovenian government, which is pushing for more regional development. Medicop employs 98 people in the country. It was founded 40 years ago and currently operates on 60 markets around the world.
