Meininger Holding is partnering with Fonciére des Murs to redevelop a building in Munich into a hotel, which is set to open in 2017. Fonciére des Murs will invest €29.5m to acquire the building from Alstria Office REIT-AG. Zublin will oversee construction for the redevelopment. The property is located on Landshuter Allee and close to the Olympic Park. The 12,000 sqm hotel will offer 173 rooms and underground parking. Dentons advised Meininger Holding on the development and long-term lease of the hotel.
The project is based on a partnership agreement concluded by Meininger and Fonciére des Murs in 2014, with the goal of financing the expansion of Meininger and of implementing common investments in European Gateway cities.
