In an effort to increase exports to China and the US, the Mercedes-Benz plant in Kecskemét will have to boost its output. The plant turned out 150,000 cars in 2014. Demand for the CLA and Shooting Brake models is on the rise. The models are manufactured exclusively at Kecskemet. The factory plans to improve its efficiency to meet growing demand. For example, the company will use local Hungarian suppliers to replace supplies now coming from Germany and other countries.
