Meridia has acquired Nestle’s Spanish headquarters in Barcelona for €40 million. The complex, which is located in Esplugues de Llobregat, provides 50,000 sqm of office space. The investment comprises two office buildings as well as 600 parking spots. Nestlé will remain as the tenant of the first building under a long-term lease contract. The second property will be leased to third parties or to Nestlé itself. JLL advised the seller, while the buyer was represented by CBRE. Over the past two years, Nestlé has invested almost €10 million into the renovation of its headquarters in the larger building.
