Merko Ehitus entered the Norwegian market after acquiring a majority holding in Peritus Entreprenor, a local construction company established in 2014 with an annual sales volume of €7m. Merko Investments AS signed an agreement to buy 56 percent of Peritus EntreprenorAS this week. The price of the deal was not disclosed. With 791 employees, the Merko Ehitus construction group is comprised of the Estonian subsidiary AS Merko Ehitus Eesti, the Latvian subsidiary SIA Merks and the Lithuanian subsidiary UAB Merko Statyba. The group reported a profit of €10m on sales of €251m last year.
