Merlin Properties Socimi, one of the leading real estate companies listed on the Spanish Stock Exchange, has acquired two properties in Lisbon: the Monumental building and the Torres de Lisboa’s Tower building. The price of the deal is €103m, according to market sources.The Monumental building, located in the city’s Plaza Duque de Saldanha district, offers 22,387 sqm of space. It is 89 percent leased to domestic and international firms, including KPMG, Marsh and Mercer. The Tower building offers 13,715 sqm of space on 16 floors and is currently fully leased to the multinational energy company Galp.
Merlin Properties Socimi entered the Portuguese market last June with the acquisition of an office building in Lisbon.
