Metrostav is bidding on several orders worth billions of crowns in Poland. The Czech construction company has already established a Polish branch: Metrostav Polska Spolka Akcyjna. Metrostav just completed modernizing the S8 section of the Warsaw ring road, which cost CZK 5bn. Metrostav recently offered the lowest bid to modernize section S7 of the Gdansk-Elbag motorway, worth CZK 10bn. The company built a bridge in Chelmek and is now working on flood protection for Kladska Nisa river. Metrostav has also set up a branch in Turkey as well.
