Metrostav Development plans to complete shell-and-core of Palmovka Open Park in Prague 8-Libeň this fall. Completion of the office complex is scheduled for H2 2018. Metrostav hopes it will be able to redevelop the worn-down industrial area around the Palmovka metro station into a location that will have similar appeal like Anděl in Smíchov-Prague 5. Palmovka Open Park combines modern office buildings and revitalized old industrial warehouses once used by Horák and Hlava. It will offer 25,500 sqm of modern office located adjacent to the Palmovka metro station, near the Pobřežní street office area in Karlín and Invalidovna. The project, designed by Aulík Fišer architekti, is hoping to secure BREEAM Excellent certification. The developer is also continuing to work on its Palmovka Park project, going up near the Palmovka metro station as well.
