Michał Ćwikliński takes up the position of Regional Managing Director for EMEA

Avison Young announced the promotion of Michal Ćwikliński to the position of Regional Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Michal will also continue as Managing Director of Avison Young in Poland. This appointment comes at a time of dynamic growth for Avison Young in the EMEA region.

“Michal is a well-recognised figure in the European commercial real estate market, with significant experience in building and developing advisory teams, so he will play a key role in Avison Young’s continued growth in the region,” said Martin Dockrill, Chief Operating Officer of Avison Young.

Michael has over 20 years’ experience in the commercial property market. He is a graduate of the University of Reading in the UK and the Warsaw School of Economics in Poland and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). In the past he has worked for other international consultancies – King Sturge (now part of JLL) and Savills, both in the UK and Poland. He is an active investment broker having completed transactions totalling nearly €5 billion. Since 2017. Ćwiklinski serves as Managing Director for Poland at Avison Young and is a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee. In this role, he has been instrumental in strengthening Avison Young’s EMEA presence by recruiting top talent and launching new business lines.

In his new role, Ćwiklinski will work closely with Avison Young’s EMEA and global management teams, overseeing and supporting strategic initiatives, as well as expanding the firm’s service offering on a wider scale.
