Michal Jurka to head Skanska Czech Republic and Slovakia

Michal Jurka was named president of Skanska Czech Republic and Slovakia. He takes over from Roman Wieczorek, executive vice president of Skanska AB. Jurka said that the strategy of the company will not change: Skanska will continue to emphasize ethics and safety, while focusing on choice of projects and strengthening risk management. Jurka joined Skanska in 2002. He held various managerial positions and most recently was executive vice president of Skanska Poland.
