Midtown 8, a mixed-use building underway in downtown Miami, has topped out. Going up on a 2-acre site, the 389,700 sq ft project will feature 387 units, 30,000 sq ft of retail space and a 10-story parking structure. Wood Partners paid $25m for the site in December 2016. Midtown 8 is set for completion in May 2019. The general contractor is Stantec and Kast Construction.
“We’re proud to be celebrating this momentous milestone for Midtown 8,” said Jennifer Llop-Noy, project manager at Stantec. “Once completed, Midtown 8 will provide exceptional residences with sophisticated interiors and amenities for the local market in Midtown Miami, one of the most dynamic residential enclaves in the city.”
