Mikolaj Wezdecki, formerly director of digitalization at LPP, has been appointed vice chairman of the company’s board of directors, replacing Jacek Kujawa in the company’s board structure, the company reported.
“We have been preparing for this change for months. I am pleased that Nikolai Wezdecki is joining the board. He is a worthy successor to Jacek Kujawa, who brought LPP to a new level, proving that the future of today’s retail is digitalization, omnichannel and a resilient distribution network. The new board member faces further ambitious challenges. I am convinced that his previous experience will be a strong asset in the further stages of LPP’s transformation,” said CEO Marek Piechocki.
“The company has undergone major technological and digital transformations over the past years. At the same time, it has gained a rich analytical background to understand market trends and the expectations of our customers. There are many challenges ahead of me, as the retail world is experiencing a true digital revolution. So I am all the more pleased to have been entrusted with such a responsible function,” Wezdecki said.
Mikołaj Wezdecki has been with LPP since June 2022. Initially, he was responsible for the digitization process and the development of the e-commerce platform of the Reserved and Sinsay brands. In March 2023, he became Director of Digitization, entrusted with developing policies for the development of the e-commerce area for all LPP Group brands and establishing new standards and synergies in the development of the brands’ online platform.
“I made the personal decision to step down with a sense of a job well done and great professional satisfaction. Putting the company on the path of e-commerce and then transforming it into a modern omnichannel organization are challenges I am particularly proud of. On top of that, the creation of a thriving LPP Logistics from scratch, which gave birth to one of the largest logistics operators in the country – LPP Logistics, meant that it was time for a change and a well-deserved rest,” Jacek Kujawa said.
In addition, there are changes in the boards of the Group’s subsidiaries – Silky Coders and LPP Logistics. Mikołaj Wezdecki becomes president of the Polish software house – Silky Coders. The position of president of the Polish logistics operator of the LPP Group, on the other hand, is taken over by its former vice president, Sebastian Soltys, who has been associated with LPP for 15 years.
