Businessman Ovidiu Sandor, who developed the complex City Business Centre in Timisoara, could start a new development in Cluj-Napoca, said Wall Street.ro sources. Ovidiu Sandor is in negotiations with the developer Atrium Centers, controlled by Michael Israel to purchase a plot of almost 2 hectares in Cluj-Napoca where he intend to develop a project over 40,000 sqm office.
Currently, in Cluj-Napoca market there are only two office buildings – Sigma Business Center (14,000 sqm) and Power Business Center (10,150 sqm).
The land, which belonged to Knitwear Factory Somesul, is located on Avenue 21 December 1989 and was acquired by Atrium Centers and Carpathian in 2007 for $14.3m.
