Romanian Culture Minister Mircea Diaconu has resigned following the rejection of his appeal against the ruling of a conflict of interest in a trial at the High Court of Justice.
Romania’s High Court of Justice decided that Mircea Diaconu could was incompatible with the position of senator, since he was also director of the Nottara Theater in Bucharest.
The proposal for the Minister of Culture is Puiu Hasotti, leader of the Liberal Party’s, said Prime Minister Victor Ponta.
