Mint Investments buys Raiffeisen building and City Point in Prague 4

Mint Investments purchased two office building in Pankrác-Prague 4 for two clients. The first one, Olbrachtova 9, known as the Raiffeisen building, was acquired for a local property fund Mint represents. This is the fund’s first acquisition. The gross transaction value totaled approximately €50m, which represents the largest single office investment transaction to close on the Czech market this year. Colliers International, Schoenherr and KPMG advised the seller on the deal, while the buyer was advised by White & Case and KPMG. The class A office property, built in 2002, offers 19,000 sqm of office and retail space on 12 floors. Key tenants include Státní fond životního prostředí ČR, Opel, Provident Finance and Raiffeisen Bank.

Mint Investments also acquired City Point, a 8,000 sqm office building, on behalf of an European institution from IVG Institutional Funds, which was recently rebranded as Triuva Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH. Key tenants include O2 and AXA. Triuva was advised by JLL and Schoenherr. Financial details of the transaction remain confidential, although the reported volume is estimated to be in the region of €16m.
