The City Point office building in Prague 4 – Pankráce is changing hands. It passes from the hands of the investment company Amundi Czech Republic to the ownership of WorkLounge, a domestic operator of coworking spaces and serviced offices. Mint Investments Group was the investment advisor that handled the entire transaction for Amundi. Agents from real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield and law firm Havel & Partners also participated in the deal. The value of the transaction exceeded CZK 450 million.
“City Point is a high-quality class A office building located in a sought-after location in Prague’s Pankrác district. Thanks to the work of the entire team, we are pleased to say that we managed to secure a truly attractive yield for Amundi, exceeding the originally planned assumptions. At the same time, we would like to congratulate Lubomir Šilhavy, the founder of WorkLounge, on a really great purchase,” comments Sebastien Dejanovski, Partner at Mint Investments.
Jaroslav Mida, Head of Investments at Mint Investments, adds. We are proud to have been able to provide Amundi with a complete service for the City Point project: from the acquisition of the building in 2015 through its comprehensive management to the subsequent sale.”
City Point offers more than 8,500 sqm of premium office space, a fitness centre and retail space with excellent transport accessibility, underground parking and a wide range of shops and services in the vicinity. Currently, the premises are occupied by prestigious tenants, including telecommunications company Telefónica O2, fitness centre operator Form Factory and insurance company AXA Assistance.
