14 September 2021

The MINT I. residential housing fund of the SICAV residential subfund has entered into an agreement with the developer Trigema Real Estate, for the acquisition of 4 apartment buildings in Pilsen – Skvrňany. Completion of the construction is planned for the 4th quarter of 2022 and over 100 flats will be created for rent.

“Pilsen is an interesting location for our fund with a functioning market for apartments and rental housing. That is why we are very happy that we managed to conclude an agreement with such a strong developer as Trigema. Pilsen has great potential thanks to the growing economic strength of the local population and long-term population growth. The Skvrňany district is characterized by a peaceful atmosphere and at the same time excellent transport accessibility to the city center, to the areas with the largest employers and to the campus of the University of West Bohemia. The Mint will offer for rent over 100 apartments in 4 buildings, which will be fully and well equipped. Of course, there will also be additional services that make everyday life easier for tenants,” says Radim Bajgar, partner at Mint Investments real estate group.

“Following the example of Western European countries, rental housing in the Czech Republic is gaining more and more prominence, which is why we are already working on further acquisitions, especially in Prague, Brno and Pilsen. We are also evaluating opportunities in other economically strong urban agglomerations,” adds Bajgar.
